Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Season 1, Episode 3: Juicy Dyno-Bites

Mel & Jill accidentally start the episode on a bit of a heavy note with Hurricane Helene, a heartbreaking docuseries, and adoption trauma. Thank goodness the Mormon wives have plenty of entertaining shenanigans to easily lighten the mood.
 
The besties are still in agreement that Whitney is the worst even though she clearly thinks she’s the queen bee of Mormon MomTok. Who needs enemies when you have friends like these ladies. From tasteless jokes to disrespectful actions, this group seems more divided than together. And Jill’s pretty confident they’re all rotting their teeth out of their mouths with the amount of soda they drink.

Sister Wives, Season 19, Episode 2 - The Grass is Greener

The besties start the episode going through their current TikTok obsessions - from a giant baby penguin to an adorable pygmy hippo, cute weird animals are all the rage. And P.Diddy is going to jail for sooooo long. 
 
The besties then dive into the second episode of Sister Wives. Kody continues to be just the worst husband, father, human in existence. Christine is up to her classic antics of throwing a party for any and all occasions, whereas Janelle begins exploring what her options might be after Flagstaff and Kody. Robyn is a permanent resident of Delulu land, and she’s only going deeper into that territory. Meri makes a couple of great one-liners that had the besties' jaws on the floor.

The besties kick off the episode talking about the unfortunate return of Sad Danny in F1. Let’s just hope that Signapore really wasn’t his swan song. 
 
Then the besties dive into the second episode of this Hulu Original. With a major time jump, there’s a lot of catching up to do. From Whitney desperately trying to establish herself as HBIC to Taylor’s messy life, the women in Utah seem to have very few ducks in a row. Oh, and the besties are both anti-Taylor’s mom.

Iron Flame, Pt 14: The Darkside of the Force

Mel and Jill only digress a tiny bit before jumping into the epic conclusion Rebecca Yarros’ second outing into the Emperyon Series. From high stakes battles (even if they were hard to follow) to ultimate sacrifices, this ending has everything you could want and more. Though not 100% impressed by this sophomore book, the besties agree that they’re excited to see where the story goes in the upcoming third installment, Onyx Storm.

Sister Wives, Season 19, Episode 1 - Self Inflicted FOMO

Mel and Jill kick off the episode by discussing dog personalities and the horrendous P. Diddy indictment. The besties wonder who will be implicated next… 
Season 19 of Sister Wives has arrived! Meri, Janelle, and Christine have clearly all moved on and are happier because of it, while Kody and Robyn seem to just want to be miserable together forever. From baby sprinkles to cross-country moves, the rest of the family is working together to support each other. Meri gets a little spicy in her confessionals and discusses the ending of her relationship with Kody with her friend Brandy. Frankly, we’re all Brandy’s ready to shout from the rooftops that Meri is finally free of one of the most dysfunctional relationships to ever grace our televisions.

The besties dive into Jill’s latest obsession, Secret Live of Mormon Wives. Birthed from a scandal that rocked TikTok, this new reality show follows the lives of several women who are a part of ‘#momtok’ and are also Mormon. Mel may not have a lot of nice things to say, but it has been an entertaining show so far. Listen as the besties are introduced to this cast of characters and make their initial reactions to who they think will end up being queen bee of #momtok.

Mel & Jill Digress 11 - Debating Reality

Down the rabbit hole the besties go in their 11th digress episode. From the presidential debate to the antics on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the two wander through a variety of topics. Jill wraps up the episode to put her clown makeup back on in the hopes of another TS album announcement at the VMAs or this coming weekend while Mel highly disagrees. Guess we’ll find out!
