Vanderpump Rules, Season 11, Episode 6: Street Dogs Have Fleas

The Besties kick off the episode with a little Taylor Swift clowning, which somehow leads to a millennial moment where they gush about Disney, Queen, Powerline, and Xenon. 
 
The VPR gang is in Tahoe and… having yoga therapy? Scheana loses her shit and surprise surprise, makes it all about her. Sandoval is continuing to deflect whenever anyone tries to approach him about his behavior. Schwartz is doing his best, but continues to make everything even more awkward. Ariana continues to support Scheana while maintaining her boundaries while working with Katie to get SAH open. Jill and Mel discuss the future of VPR, the ethics of reality TV, holding people accountable while grieving relationships.

Iron Flame, Pt 5: Remind Me Why We Like Her?

The Besties start this episode with chatting about the Bahrain Grand Prix, skip ahead to 9:40 to dive into the book.
 
Mel and Jill dive into chapters 16-19 of Iron Flame. We learn what the leadership deems worthy of death when it comes to Archive requests, and Jesenia slowly becomes a trusted member of the revolution. Varrish continues to beat a dead horse in wanting to see Andarna, and Violet will suffer the consequences. Sloane continues to suck at fighting, but Violet does what Violet does, and ends up blackmailing her to train with Imogen. Violet struggles not being able to connect with her friends, but she does get some sage relationship advice. We also get a lesson in propaganda.

Katie & Aria are running into permit issues with Something About Her. Sandoval

Iron Flame, Pt 4: I Want to Know What the Dragons Know

There’s definitely signs of unrest in the quadrants when Violet and Jesinia witness Markham taking another cadet into custody after requesting a book from the Archives. We learn that Xaden has an ex-girlfriend, Cat, and that the rebellion kids are sneaking contraband onto Tairn whenever Violet has to fly to Samara. Violet and Xaden get a little hot and heavy during her first visit, and the besties get really annoyed at Violet’s lack of communication skills. When Violet gets back from Samara, Varrish punishes her by pushing her to almost burn out. And the gang also does a piss-poor job of their first land navigation challenge in RSC.

The besties dive into all things VPR as they discuss Tom Sandoval’s recent New York Times article before getting into the fourth episode of the season. Between ‘pool’ warmings and sobriety talks, the gang has a lot going on. Sandoval is still unwelcome in the group, but Lisa is pushing for him to have more support for his mental health. The episode ends on a high note when James is reunited with Graham.

Very importantly, the besties circle back to something we failed to talk about back in Chapter 2. Conscription Day is filled with heavy feelings with the arrival of Sloane (who hates Violet), and Cam aka Aaric, a prince of Navarre. Violet and Xaden are still fighting, and Varrish sets himself up to be the Umbridge of the series. Violet almost gets assasinated, and Xaden writes her a letter.

Lisa pulls some strings to get Schwartz to invite the crew to Tahoe, and it was a bit of a filler episode getting ready for the big group trip.
